Air France flight AF198 departed Paris CDG at 17:04 CEST Sunday, August 10 2025 to Bangkok, Thailand.
While cruising at 37,000 feet over Turkmenistan, the Airbus A350-900 (registration F-HUVA) turned around towards Azerbaijan.
According to Flightradar24, a malfunctioning oxygen bottle on the flight deck forced the pilots to divert to Tbilisi (TBS).
As the flight was cancelled, Air France sent another A350 (registration F-HUVM) on Monday as a rescue flight to Bangkok.
