An United Boeing 767 to Newark turned around over Atlantic and diverted to Dublin.
The United flight #UA921 departed London Heathrow yesterday evening to Newark, USA.
The Boeing 767-300ER climbed to 34,000ft and flew over Ireland then started to cross the Atlantic when it turned around about 1 hour and 15 minutes in the air.
The aircraft (registration N673UA) was vectored to Dublin after pilots reported an urgent medical situation on board.
Due to the plane landing heavy, Dublin Airport Fire Service met the aircraft on landing, then it taxied to the gate.
After refueling, the light resumed more than one hour later. It landed at Newark in the night, more than 3 hours late.
