TAP flight from Lisbon to Newark is diverting to Ponta Delgada.
The TAP flight TP201 departed Lisbon Airport for a 8h 25m flight to Newark today Thursday, January 16 2025.
But only 30 minutes into the flight, the crew decided to divert. The A321neoLR (registration CS-TXD) is expected to land at Ponta Delgada Airport, the capital of the Azores archipelago of Portugal.
Lisbon-based TAP Air Portugal has taken delivery of its first of twelve A321LRs on order, becoming the first airline to operate a combined A330neo and A321LR fleet on April 05, 2019.
