Air France announced Sunday that it has suspended its flights to Madagascar, where a possible military revolt was happening, until at least Tuesday.
This decision comes amid a possible military revolt in the capital, Antananarivo. An army unit has mutinied and declared control of military forces. Protesters are demanding the removal of President Andry Rajoelina. The airline will reassess the situation daily for flight resumption. Air Austral has also suspended some services.
Flight AF934 has been cancelled in the past days. The Boeing 777 diverted to RUN on September 25.
