A man was arrested at Dublin airport this morning after throwing furniture around the terminal in a rage having missed his flight.
Travelers at Dublin Airport were left stunned this morning as a man erupted into a violent outburst after missing his flight, hurling furniture and causing significant damage inside Terminal 1.
Footage circulating online captured the shirtless man, his face partially covered, pacing erratically through the terminal, tossing chairs and tables as bewildered passengers watched.
The man was seen trying to pull wires from built-in pieces of airport equipment around a section of Terminal 1 used for short-haul flights by budget airlines like Ryanair.
Dublin airport later confirmed that a passenger had been arrested after causing ‘significant damage to our airport’, as many travelled to celebrate St, Patrick’s Day.
Aged in his 20s, he has been charged and is due to appear before Court 2 of the Criminal Courts of Justice Dublin
