A Man has been banned from flying United after he knocked out a passenger service agent at Dulles International Airport Thursday night.
A United Airlines gate agent was left injured after a Maryland man punched him in the face Thursday night.
The man, whose flight was canceled at Washington Dulles Airport in the US, took his anger out on ground staff when he couldn’t find a seat on the other plane.
The gate agent was transferred to a local hospital by the Airports Authority’s fire and rescue department.
United Airlines passenger, 54, from Maryland, was arrested and charged with assault and disorderly conduct according to Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority.
International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Works Union (IAM Union): “This latest incident is yet another example of the unacceptable rise in violence against frontline airline workers, and immediate action is needed to address it.”
