Failure of the radar of the Milan flight control is impacting airports of northern Italy.
Due to a failure of the radar of the Milan flight control, important restrictions are active.
Initial reports expected that Milano airspace was not available until 18:00 UTC (20:00 local time) but a recovery rate has been applied from 17:40 local time.
Operational activities are limited at Milan Malpensa Airport, Milan Linate Airport and Milan Bergamo Airport.

Recovery rate until midnight, very high delays expected.
NMOC is providing RRPs where possible and constantly monitoring the situation for possible individual improvements.
