The new company Global Airlines has already started pre-selling the first flights for its Airbus A380.

After a long wait and a somewhat overdue announcement, the new startup airline Global Airlines, a UK-based operator that will exclusively use the Airbus A380 Super Jumbos, is now getting ready to begin its flights.

The airline announced that you can now join the “Pre-Sale” waiting list for flights starting in May this year. The new company will offer three classes of service and will have a fleet composed only of Airbus A380s.

The inaugural routes will connect Manchester and Glasgow airports to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.

The first flight will take place on May 15, between Glasgow and New York, with a return flight on May 19. The second flight will depart from Manchester on May 21st, with the return scheduled for May 25th.

The British company has reached an agreement with Hi Fly to collaborate on the development and maintenance of the new carrier’s four Airbus A380 aircraft. The Airbus A380 with registration 9H-GLOBL of the Global Airlines airline is currently operated by that company.

A test flight is scheduled to take place next Monday, March 31st, departing and arriving at BA11, in Beja, on a flight operated by Hi Fly. The date is subject to change.
