SriLankan Airlines has grounded the Captain of an Airbus A330 after a verbal altercation with his female copilot.
SriLankan Airlines grounded a captain after he locked out his female copilot when she took a toilet break during a flight from Sydney to Colombo on 14 October, as per sources.
Pilots of a SriLankan Airlines flight from Sydney (SYD) to Colombo (CMB) were involved in a tense verbal altercation, with one of them being locked out of the cockpit of an Airbus A330-343 aircraft.

The incident occurred on flight #UL607 from Sydney to Colombo on Sep 21 on board an Airbus A330-300 (registration 4R-ALR).

The airline said that it’s fully cooperating with authorities, and the flight captain has been grounded pending the investigation’s outcome.
