An easyJet flight to Dalaman returned to London Gatwick due to technical issue.
This morning Tuesday, May 14 2024, the flight operated by an Airbus A320 (registration G-EZPB) departed Gatwick Airport at 8:15 BST to Dalaman, Turkey.
The scheduled flight time was almost 4 hours but shortly after takeoff, while crossing The Channel, the pilots noticed issues with engines.
The crew started a descend from 29,000 ft to 14,000 ft. The A320 circled for a short while before being vectored back to LGW.
A replacement aircraft has been booked (registration G-EZRY) and is currently in flight.
The flight #U28563 is expected to land about 6 hours late.
