On the 7th of December, Thursday, a Tu-204 cargo aircraft experienced a series of surges sending out flames from one of its engines in Russia.
The Tupolev Tu-204C with registration RA-64-024 was operating flight TUP6477 from Ulan-Ude Airport, Russia to Zhengzhou.
However, soon after take-off, the cargo aircraft experienced a series of surges on its left engine trailing flames and showers of sparks.

Following this, the cargo flight was disrupted and the aircraft safely returned to land.
According to reports, the engine caught fire during the take-off. The aircraft landed safely after the pilots dumped fuel and there were allegedly no casualties.
