Jonas Vingegaard made a triumphant return to Denmark on Wednesday following his victory at the Tour de France.
As he crossed into Danish airspace, two Danish Air Force fighter jets escorted Vingegaard’s private plane on its journey to Copenhagen.

Moments after touching down on Danish soil, he would be driven in an Audi Cabriolet from the airport to City Hall.
