A first Qantas A380 has started to be dismantled.
The A380 (reg. VH-OQF) is currently being dismantled in the Mojave Desert, California.
The parts recovered from the A380 will be used as spare parts, and kept in Australia as at Los Angeles airport.
The aircraft was delivered in January 2010 and stored in California since March 2020.
A second Qantas will be also dismantled in few months.
