27 years ago today, 270 people lost their lives as a bomb explodes on a Pam An flight, PA103 from London Heathrow that was heading to New York JFK.
The terrorist bomb exploded over the Scottish village of Lockerbie, causing the plane to explode in mid-air killing 243 passengers, 16 crew and 11 people on the ground.
