Nightmare this morning at San Diego International Airport due to fog.
Departures to San Diego-Lindbergh Field are currently grounded due to fog. Grounding applies to departures from ZLA ZLC ZDV ZOA ZAB.
Current visibility is 1 mile due to mist and fog, all Southwest flights to SAN Airport are diverting to Phoenix and Las Vegas.
With no wind at all, the mist and fog will remain thick for this morning.
However the airport is not totally closed. Flight United UA765 from Denver just landed.

Arrival are regulated, no takeoffs for now.

Visibility is slowly increasing, flights which diverted to Las Vegas are taking off to San Diego.

According to FlightAware, 325 flights were delayed so far from/to San Diego, 56 flights canceled.
