Thai Airways says one of its planes hit severe turbulence over Thailand and 11 people on board were injured.
The Airbus A340-600 was headed to Bangkok from Tokyo at the time and landed safely.
He said the injured were taken to a hospital.
Airline said in a statement that flight TG641 was carrying 227 passengers, two pilots and 22 crew members.
