Brisbane Queensland and the greater part of the state will be hit hard by a categorize four cyclone which will hit Brisbane city and YBBN airport hard sometime tomorrow, with gusts of 260kmph. Qantas Virigin Jetstar have cancelled flight from it’s regional airports as of today. This includes Hamilton Island, Rockhampton Mackay and this could see the closure of YBBN/BNE until the cyclone passes through. Further south towards the NSW boarder the gold coast airport will also be closed. YBBN/BNE will see flights cancelled or diverted to YSSY or other airports. As for the international flights this will also be in place for flights arriving all departures will be cancelled or delayed. Visit www.bom.gov.au to watch the big storm come through.
