The delivery of the first Airbus A350 to launch customer Qatar Airways has been delayed, the carrier said Wednesday morning.
The airline had been scheduled to become the first airline in the world to take delivery of the new widebody model this weekend. Qatar Airways had been scheduled to fly away with its first A350 from Airbus’ production line in France on Saturday (Dec. 13), with a formal delivery ceremony to take place in Doha, Qatar, on Monday (Dec,. 15).
But the airline said Wednesday morning that the delivery would no longer follow that schedule.
