In the morning, Russia launched an intercontinental ballistic missile on Ukraine.
Russia has launched an intercontinental ballistic missile overnight targeting the city of Dnipro in the east of Ukraine.
It is the first known use in the war of such a powerful, nuclear-capable weapon with a range of thousands of kilometres.
It was not clear exactly what type of missile was fired but Ukraine’s air force said in a statement that it was launched from Russia’s Astrakhan region.
During press conference, Maria Zakharova, the director of the information and press department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, received a phone call to make sure she doesn’t talk about the ballistic missile launch.
