A Boeing 717 immediately returned after takeoff from St Louis.

Delta Air Lines flight DL9962 made a delayed takeoff from runway 29 at St. Louis Lambert International Airport to Detroit.

The Boeing 717-200 (registered N935AT) stopped the climb at only 4,800 feet due to a technical issue.

Plots declared an emergency (squawk 7700) and required an immediate return to STL Airport.

The flight landed on the same runway only a bit more than 10 minutes if the air.
