A Delta Air Lines flight to Greenville returned to Detroit after pilots declared a general emergency.
The Delta Air Lines flight DL3570 departed Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport at 7:11 EST Tuesday, November 25 2025.
The CRJ-701ER (registration N778SK) climbed to about 26,000 feet towards Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport but turned around over Ohio.
Pilots declared a general emergency (squawk 7700) then descended the aircraft down to 10,000 feet. The flight returned to DTW airport holding FL100 which often indicates an issue with cabin pressurization.
The plane was met by firetrucks upon landing on runway 21L before it taxied back to the gate.
