A Jet2 flight from Turkey to England was forced to make an emergency landing in Budapest.
The flight LS622 departed Dalaman in Turkey Saturday, April 26 2025 East Midlands Airport.
The Boeing 737-800 with registration G-JZBC was cruising at 36,000feet on it’s scheduled flight path when the crew contact ATC about engine number 1 issue.
The plane was vectored to Budapest Airport where it landed on runway 31R 2 hours and 19 minutes after departure.

Passengers on aboard described the experience as strong turbulence on final to BUD Airport. According to source to AIRLIVE, the 7year-old aircraft was suffering oil leak on its left hand engine.
The plane is still on maintenance at the time we’re writing this article.
