United flight #UA71 from Amsterdam to Newark has declared an emergency over Atlantic.
While cruising at 36,000 feet, the crew of a Boeing 777 has declared an emergency off Iceland coast.
The Boeing 777-200 (registration N78005) departed Amsterdam at 09:08 CEST for a flight to Newark. But 2 hours and 40 minutes into the flight, pilots squawked 7700 (general emergency).
The 26-year-old plane already circled for few minutes at 26,000 feet, North of Scotland, before crossing Atlantic.
