Lufthansa flight suffered heavy turbulence above the Atlantic injuring several passengers on board.
The flight #LH511 departed Ezeiza Airport in Argentina at 17:52 ART to Frankfurt in Germany.
The Boeing 747-8 (registration D-ABYP) climbed to 33,000 ft cruise altitude and encountered heavy turbulence between South America and Africa.
The pilots tried to avoid the bad weather and climbed to 34,000 ft then 35,000 ft but 5 passengers who didn’t wear their seat belt were injured during the incident.
Several ambulance vehicles took care of the wounded people.
