A British Airways A320 from Milan declared an emergency on approach to London Heathrow during the night.
The British Airways flight #BA589 departed Milan, Italy Sunday night at 22:25 CEST.
The Airbus A320-200 (registration G-EUYF) climbed to 34,000 ft over Switzerland then flew over France, on its way to UK.
While on approach to London Heathrow, the crew declared an emergency (squawk 7700) due to fumes in the cockpit.
The aircraft safely landed few minutes later on runway 09L at London Heathrow.
