The Boeing 737 MAX-8 took off from Newcastle on time but after almost 1 hour and 30 minutes of flight, while cruising at 36,000ft off France coast the aircraft made a turn around.
Pilots decided to flight all the way to Manchester as the company has a maintenance base there.
The aircraft was experiencing a technical issue with the de-icing equipment.

The aircraft (reg. G-TUMO) landed at Manchester airport after 3 hours and 16 minutes of flight and was followed by fire trucks.
