The Jet2 flight departed Alicante Wednesday, April 9 2025 at 12:20 CEST to Glasgow.
The crew declared an emergency while starting the descend to Glasgow, on flight LS178, operated by a Boeing 737-800, with registration G-JZBK.
According to Flight Emergency, the aircraft potentially had a problem with a tyre. Rubber debris was found after departure from Alicante.
Emergency vehicles rushed to the aircraft after landing, which taxied to the gate few minutes later.
