Police confirm a car was on the apron at around 8 p.m. There are at least 2 people in the vehicle, including a child. Special forces are deployed.

Passengers who were stranded in planes on the tarmac due to the hostage situation are currently being evacuated by police.

Hamburg Airport remains closed. Negotiation continues as a man is still in control of his 4 year-old daughter. His car is parked right next to a Turkish Airlines Boeing 737.
