A GOL Boeing 737 had to return to Rio de Janeiro after smoke filled the cabin on takeoff.
Pilots declared emergency after GOL Boeing 737-7BX aircraft (reg. PR-VBW) developed smoke in the cabin during take-off from Runway 20L on 02 Sept.
The aircraft was operating flight #G31003 to Sao Paulo.
Cockpit declared emergency followed by return back to Rio de Janeiro Santos Dumont Airport (SDU),after GOL Boeing 737-7BX aircraft (PR-VBW) developed smoke in the cabin at around 5000ft during take-off from Runway 20L on 02 Sept. At around 5000 ft, the Boeing 737 turned left to return to Rio de Janeiro Santos Dumont Airport (SDU).
