A Rossiya Airlines Boeing 747-400 flight from Moscow to Antalya was delayed after the emergency slide was automatically released.
The passenger opened the emergency exit while the airline was preparing for the flight, resulting in the deployment of the emergency ladder. This incident took place during pre-flight preparations at Moscow Sheremetyevo International Airport.
As a result, Rossiya Airlines flight FV5625 to Antalya was delayed by 4 hours. The aircraft was replaced with a reserve one. All passengers disembarked the aircraft and were accommodated on the replacement aircraft.
The replacement Boeing 747-400, with registration EI-XLE, departed Moscow at 06:42 local time, arriving in Antalya at 09:53 local time.
The airline is reportedly planning to recover losses of the flight delay, replacement of the aircraft and replacement of the emergency ladder on the second left door. The airline is investigating the incident creating a commission.
