A Korean Air plane was damaged by an Asiana aircraft on Tuesday morning at Seoul-Gimpo Airport (GMP).
The tail Korean Air Boeing 777-200ER (reg. HL7764) was damaged by the right winglet of an Asiana Airbus A330-300 (reg. HL8286) at Seoul-Gimpo Airport (GMP).
An official explained to YTN: “The Korean Airline aircraft was waiting to taxi before to reach runway and takeoff when the wing of the Asiana aircraft clipped the tail of the Korean Air’s aircraft.”
Asiana Airlines plane was scheduled to fly from Seoul-Gimpo to Beijing, China.
The Korean Air flight was scheduled to fly from Seoul-Gimpo to Osaka, Japan with 138 passengers on board.
The accident caused some delays at Seoul-Gimpo Airport.
