A Delta Air Lines flight bound for Los Angeles from Tokyo’s Narita International Airport made an unscheduled landing in Anchorage early Wednesday morning after a passenger suffered a medical emergency, according to a statement from the airline.
The crew elected to divert Delta flight 284 to Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport “in response to a customer medical situation on board,” Delta wrote. “The flight landed without incident and paramedics met the aircraft on arrival.”
