An United Airlines flight Thursday was forced to make an emergency landing in Ontario minutes after departing from LAX.
United flight 1181, which was flying from LAX to Dulles in Washington, D.C., diverted to Ontario International Airport around 9 a.m. due to reports of a burning smell, according to the FAA.
Passenger Mitchell Hashimoto tweeted that he saw smoke in the cabin of the Boeing 757.
