Today, Wizz Air announced that it would be supporting Ukrainian refugees by offering them 100,000 free seats from the Ukraine border countries.
The free tickets will be valid on all continental Europe flights departing from Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. In addition, the low-cost carrier also announced will help the refugees reach their final destinations.
According to a press release, the Hungarian Low-cost carrier has already added flights from Ukraine’s border countries to other destinations in Europe. Commenting on this decision, CEO of Wizz Air, József Váradi said:

“We have already seen great humanitarian efforts on the ground by our people across the network, and as a company, we wanted to play our part in these efforts. We would be happy to provide a safe and welcoming journey for these refugees,” Váradi added.
