CHINA is to allow foreign airlines to choose one airport from an approved list. This starts on the 8th June 2020.

The Civil Aviation Administration of China has named several cities which airlines can choose from.

The CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) has introduced contingencies for foreign airlines, which are based on how many passengers have COVID-19.

  • If an airline has up to five passengers who have tested positive, the airline will not be allowed to operate in China for 1 week.
  • If the airline has ten passengers who have COVID-19, the carrier is unable to operate in China for one month

However, if an airline has zero passengers with COVID-19, they will be able to have more flights into China per week,
