Portuguese charter airline Hi Fly to show off its very first Airbus A380 at Farnborough Airshow 2018 next week.
The jet, which is currently being painted in Malta ahead of being introduced to Hi Fly’s operations, will be on display Thursday to Sunday in the static park at the airshow.
Hi Fly is leasing two used A380’s from DS Aviation after Singapore Airlines had decided not to extend the contract with the German leasing company. It is the first charter and wet-lease airline to fly the superjumbo.
Both A380 frames will be operated by Hi Fly Malta and wet-leased to other airlines, an airline representative told AIRLIVE.net in April.
