Fifteen fantastic sun destinations are now on sale for summer 2017 at Birmingham Airport! – Alicante, Crete (Heraklion), Faro, Fuerteventura, Girona (Costa Brava), Gran Canaria, Ibiza, Lanzarote, Majorca, Malaga, Menorca, Paphos, Reus, Rhodes and Tenerife – giving local holidaymakers even more choice and even better value when it comes to their sunshine breaks next year.
A total of 57 weekly flights will operate to these destinations, with daily services to popular hotspots Alicante, Faro and Majorca. 590,000 seats will be available for summer 2017 and, in more exciting news for local customers, the flights will operate on four of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ brand new Boeing 737-800 next generation aircraft. The first flights from Birmingham Airport will take off on Thursday 30th March 2017 to Faro and Malaga
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ arrival in Birmingham means significant investment for the region. More than 200 new jobs will be created with roles available including flight and cabin crew, engineers and ground operations staff.
