A flight from Milan diverted to Zurich in Switzerland following a mechanical issue.
The Scandinavian flight SK1684 departed Milan, Italy at 15:31 CEST on Monday to Copenhagen, Denmark.
The CRJ-900LR (registration EI-HSE) climbed to 29,000 feet then pilots contacted ATC about an engine issue requiring an immediate diversion.

Over Switzerland, the flight was vectored to Zurich Airport where it landed 54 minutes after departure.
As the crew reported an engine issue, the aircraft was surrounded by firetrucks and taxied to a remote parking where passengers disembarked.
Today, the aircraft is still under maintenance at ZRH Airport.
