A TUI Boeing 787 Dreamliner, full of passengers, performed a 23-minute flight from London to… London.

Sunday, June 29 2025, a TUI Airways flight from Paphos, on Mediterranean island of Cyprus, was scheduled to land at London Gatwick.

Flight BY4757

However after 4 hours in the air, the flight was not cleared to land at LGW due to ongoing incident on the runway. The Boeing 787-8 circled for few minutes before diverting to London Stansted.

An easyJet flight U26596 from Bodrum experienced a steering problem and was blocking the runway of Gatwick Airport.

Due to low fuel warning, the pilots required a diversion. The Dreamliner landed at London Stansted to refuel while the incident at Gatwick was solved.

One hour later, the Boeing 787-8 (registration G-TUIA) departed London Stansted for a 23- minutes flight to London Gatwick, a very short flight for a Dreamliner.
