An Emirates Boeing 777 to Amsterdam was forced to divert to Brussels after holding during 20 minutes.
Emirates flight EK145 was on final approach to Amsterdam Schiphol at 7:10 local time this morning when the aircraft entered a holding pattern.
The Boeing 777-300 (registered A6-EGF) circled during 20 minutes at very low altitude due to current weather and low ceiling over Amsterdam.
The flight finally was diverted to Brussels Zaventem Airport where it landed on runway 25L 7 hours and 23 minutes after departure at 08:00 local time.
After being parked on a remote stand during 2 hours, the flight finally resumed for a 23-minute flight time to Schiphol airport.
