A KLM flight from The Netherlands to Tanzania turned around over Egypt.

The KLM flight KL569 departed Amsterdam Schiphol Airport from runway 24 at 12:45 CET for a 8-hour flight to Kilimanjaro Airport in Tanzania.

The Boeing 787-10 (registration PH-BKF) turned around over Egypt while cruising at 38,000 feet due to a technical issue with the aircraft.

The airline is confirming to AIRLIVE the flight is cancelled. But due to low fuel, the Dreamliner has to stop in Vienna.

The aircraft is on final approach to runway 16.

UPDATE 21:25 CET
Touch down at VIE Airport.

UPDATE 21:33 CET
The B787 is now parked at remote stand of the Airport.
