A Boeing 737-800 from The Netherlands to Austria was forced to divert to Germany.
The KLM flight KL1901 departed Amsterdam Schiphol Airport one hour late at 10:41 CET for a 90-minute flight to Vienna.
The Boeing 737-800 (registration PH-BCK) was cruising at 41,000 feet over Germany when the crew contacted ATC about a medical emergency on board.
The aircraft was vectored to Munich airport and landed on runway 26L less than one hour after takeoff.
Only 45 minutes later, the flight resumed to Vienna for a flight time of 39 minutes.
