United Airlines flight UA870 departed Sydney Wednesday, September 3 2025 at 10:42 AEST for a 13-hour flight to San Francisco from runway 34L.
The Boeing 777-200ER (registration N78008) is diverting to Honolulu after more than 9 hours into the flight.
The airline is confirming the diversion and scheduling e new departure at 1:30 AM from HNL.
