A ground stop was called at Newark Liberty International Airport early Monday morning, according to the FAA.
The stop was issued at 7:30 a.m. due to low ceilings, the agency said. It lasts through 9 a.m.
Ceiling was as low as 500 ft with visibility only 2 miles but no important wind gusts.
