Flight LH468 departed Frankfurt, Germany from Terminal 1, gate Z19 at 10:49 CET for a scheduled 11h40 flight to Austin, TX, US.
The Airbus A330-300 (registration D-AIKR) turned around between Scotland and Iceland while cruising at 36,000 ft.
The airline is confirming the flight is being diverted.
