British Airways Boeing 777-200ER is returning to London Heathrow.
British Airways flight #BA143 departed London Heathrow late at 12:01 GMT to New Delhi.
Less than one hour into the flight, pilots decided to turn around over Western Germany to return to London Heathrow.
The Boeing 777-200ER (registration G-YMMI) was put on hold at 24,000 ft for a while to burn/dump fuel in order to reduce the weight before landing.
In July 1st, 2024, that same aircraft experienced a mechanical issue and returned to London Heathrow on flight BA31 to Hong Kong. The aircraft is 24 years hold.
