More than 95 private jets expected to land in Venice for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding.
Tuesday saw the first pictures of guests at the Venice airport, Italy, including Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump.
Fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg’s G500 landed about midday. A Bombardier Global 7500 owned by her husband, the Fox cofounder Barry Diller, arrived in Venice at about noon on Wednesday, per ADS-B Exchange data.
By Friday morning, dozens of aircraft had already touched down at Marco Polo Airport, including jets owned by celebrities, billionaires, and royalty according to Business Insider.
The largest influx occurred Thursday, with notable arrivals including:
- Kim Kardashian’s Gulfstream G650, which landed Thursday morning after a 10-hour flight from Los Angeles.
- Kylie Jenner’s Bombardier Global 7500 arrived from Budapest mid-afternoon, followed shortly by Kendall Jenner.
- Bill Gates’ Gulfstream G650 touched down from Brussels about an hour later.
- Oprah Winfrey’s new Gulfstream G700 landed earlier in the day, with Gayle King joining her at the airport dock.
Other notable arrivals included:
- James Murdoch, via a G650 reportedly owned by him.
- Hedge fund billionaire John Griffin.
- Queen Rania of Jordan, on a government G650.
- A corporate jet registered to Netflix, arriving from California around 6 p.m.
- A jet linked to Tudor Investment Corp., billionaire Paul Tudor Jones’ firm, just after midnight.
- Music mogul David Geffen, whose plane arrived early Friday.
- Fashion icon Diane von Furstenberg, spotted midday Thursday after her G500 landed.
- Her husband, Barry Diller, cofounder of Fox, arrived on his Global 7500 on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, two of Jeff Bezos’ jets—a G700 and a G650—have been seen moving around the Mediterranean and were both parked Thursday across the Adriatic in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
