An Emirates flight from Dubai landed in Iran while Israel began airstrikes.

Emirates flight #EK977 from Dubai landed in Tehran Friday, June 13 2025 at 03:48 IRST (local time), scheduled at 03:00.

The Boeing 777-300ER (registration A6-EGE) touched down on runway 29 while blasts were reported across Tehran as Israel launched Operation Rising Lion.

Iran’s civil aviation authority declared the country’s airspace closed “until further notice,” state media reported.

“No flights will be operated at any airports in the country in order to protect the safety of passengers… until further notice,” the official IRNA news agency said.
