A young passenger opened an emergency exit and jumped outside an Iberia A320 at Paris Orly Airport.

A young passenger onboard Iberia flight IB578 from Paris to Madrid assaulted a flight attendant, and opened an emergency exit before takeoff.

The airbus A320neo (registration EC-NTA) was about to turn to runway 07 for takeoff when passengers heard a loud sound and the aircraft braked.

A young man assaulted a flight attendant before opening an emergency exit at the back of the plane Friday, February 7 2025 at Paris Orly Airport.

That boy was complaining and finally allowed to board the plane even the fact there was overbooking because he had a relative on Iberia.

Emergency services rushed in including ambulances and police at the scene.

The captain told passengers, who stayed 2 hours inside the plane, that it was the first time he experienced such incident.

After two hours, passengers disembarked and finally were dispatched to hotels.

The aircraft finally departed as a ferry flight after repairs at 22:15 CET and landed at 23:51 CET in Madrid.
