All flights are currently holding as Dallas Fort Worth International Airport runways are closed.

Departures to Dallas/Ft Worth International are grounded due to snow or ice.

Nearly half of all flights in and out of DFW International Airport and Dallas Love Field are canceled with snow and sleet falling throughout the region and more expected through Thursday.

The FAA issued a ground stop for all flights departing for DFW Airport from other airports, the air traffic regulator posted Thursday at 10:41 a.m. The agency expects the ground stop to extend beyond 12:30 p.m.

Multiple flights are diverting to Austin, Memphis, Tulsa and Houston.

Aircraft departing from Dallas/Ft Worth International are being sprayed with deicing fluid to remove snow and ice.
